Support Groups

In addition to my work in mediation and therapy, I offer two unique support groups: a divorce support group, and a narcissistic abuse recovery group. Each group is a safe, compassionate space where you can connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through.

Whether you’re navigating the grief and uncertainty of divorce, preparing for mediation, or healing from the emotional wounds of narcissistic abuse, you don’t have to face it alone. These groups offer gentle guidance, practical tools, and heartfelt support to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of self.

Together, we honor your process—one step at a time—with care, connection, and understanding.

Divorce Support Group

In-person | 6-week series | Co-ed

90-minute sessions

Divorce can feel like a personal earthquake—and whether you’re considering divorce, actively going through it, or navigating life afterward, this group is here to offer steady ground and real connection.

This in-person, co-ed group runs as a six-week commitment, providing a safe, confidential space where you can show up exactly as you are. You may come in with fear, frustration, grief, or even relief. No matter where you are in the process, you’re not alone. Together, we process the emotional toll of divorce, explore what healing looks like, and support one another with honest conversation and shared wisdom.

Each 90-minute session includes guided, thought-provoking questions and open discussion. There’s laughter, insight, and a sense of belonging that forms as we go. It’s not therapy—but it’s deeply therapeutic.

What to Expect:

  • Connection with others who “get it”

  • A safe place to be vulnerable

  • Reflection and real talk (with some laughs)

  • Tools for emotional and relational healing

This group is facilitated by Amy Hamby, a licensed therapist and certified divorce mediator, and coach who blends compassion, directness, and professional insight to help you move through the pain of divorce and into the next chapter of your life.

Surviving Narcissism

Virtual | Drop-in style | Mondays, 7:00–8:15 PM ET

If you’ve been in a relationship with someone who shows narcissistic traits or full-blown narcissistic abuse, you know how hard it is to make sense of it all—and how isolating the healing journey can be.

Surviving Narcissism is a weekly virtual support group open to all survivors, regardless of where you are in the healing process. Whether you’re still in the relationship, newly out, or struggling to rebuild, this group offers a safe and empowering space to process what you’ve experienced and reclaim your sense of self.

Each week we focus on themes like:

  • Recognizing gaslighting and emotional manipulation

  • Rebuilding self-trust and identity

  • Coping with trauma responses

  • Practicing emotional regulation (DBT-based skills)

  • Drawing from spirituality and inner strength

This is not a rigid or clinical group—it’s open, supportive, and real. You’ll find encouragement, tools, and the reminder that you are not alone. Many people find the weekly rhythm grounding as they navigate the ups and downs of recovery.

Led by Amy Hamby, therapist, coach, and fellow survivor, this group blends therapeutic approaches with lived experience and heartfelt connection.
